I always find it truly odd, (what I term) kids, who think darkness is…'romantic', or fun', or glamorous.
Though the artwork's not bad, this is NOT what the Ripper, nor what he - nor, possibly she - did;
• it was about brutality.
• It was about madness.
It was NOT a Victorian 'bodice-ripper',
It WASN'T 'carnal' - it was 'carnage'.
it was blood, and the stink of Victorian alley-ways, and a wildly psychopathic whirling of knives, blood, and gore.
Sadly, you really are not familiar with what happened.
It wasn't about 'seduction'.
NOT a 'stolen moment', with a 'ravishing stranger'.
It was FAST.
COLD.
RAZOR SHARP.
It was RUTHLESS.
It was about PAIN - SUFFERING.
Again, again, AGAIN.
In a way - in it's mayhem, there is a 'rhythm', but, it's certainly nothing like this.
It's discordant, is definitely not facile as 'goth', not 'hard core', 'death core', nor ANY 'core' nor anything remotely, misguided as wanting to knock back Absinthe whilst thinking of Rimbaud, Verlaine, or any such misguided ideas.
